Content Policy

Overview is an online information publishing service (hereinafter referred to as "the Service") owned and operated by Vigilant Fire Dept. (hereinafter referred to as "Site Owner"). This agreement specifies the types of content allowed and or prohibited to be displayed through your usage of the service.

You must accept this agreement (hereinafter referred to as "Agreement") in its entirety, including all of its terms and conditions, before you can use the Service. By viewing the content on this website, you have indicated that you accept this agreement and agree to abide by its terms and conditions.

Site Owner, in its sole discretion, may add, delete, or modify some or all of the features of the Service at any time.

1. Authority

1.1. Site Owner, the provider of the service, will have final authority over decisions regarding content, and it's classification as acceptable or unacceptable. Site Owner retains the right to disable and or remove content that it deems unacceptable, whether specifically described as such in this policy or not.

2. Definition of Content

2.1. Content is defined as the information and data that you insert into the service through public discussion boards. Examples include, but are not limited to, your name, text, pictures, images, sounds, HTML comments, HTML code and HTML hyperlinks.

3. Acceptable Content

3.1. Acceptable content is described as any content that does not conflict with the descriptions listed in the section labeled "Unacceptable Content". In the event of conflicting descriptions, the unacceptable content description shall take precedence, in accordance with the authority's final decision.

4. Unacceptable Content

4.1. Unacceptable content is described as any content that falls within the following guidelines:

4.1.1. Content that provides, sells or offers to sell the following products or services: pornography or illicitly pornographic sexual products; escort services; illegal goods; illegal drugs; illegal drug contraband; pirated computer programs; instructions on how to assemble or otherwise make bombs, grenades or other weapons.

4.1.2. Content that displays material that exploits children under 18 years of age.

4.1.3. Content that discloses any personally identifying information or private information about children without the written consent of their legal guardians.

4.1.4. Content that is grossly offensive, including blatant expressions of bigotry, prejudice, racism, hatred or excessive profanity or any obscene, lewd, lascivious, filthy, excessively violent, harassing or otherwise objectionable content. Site Owner, the providers of the Service, will have final authority over content deemed as inappropriate.

4.1.5. Content that sells or promotes any products or services that are unlawful in the location at which the content is posted or received.

4.1.6. Content that contains viruses, worms, harmful code, and content that describes, instructs, or suggests how to create the same.

4.1.7. Content that engages in any libelous, defamatory, scandalous, threatening, harassing activity.

4.1.8. Content that advocates, promotes or otherwise encourages violence against any governments, organizations, groups or individuals or which provides instruction, information or assistance in causing or carrying out such violence.

5. Additional Restrictions

5.1. Additional restrictions may limit the content that is allowed in the Service.

6. Revision

6.1. If this agreement is revised, we will post the latest version of this agreement on our website at the location /Home/Policy.Content.asp. It is your responsibility to check for revisions and updates on this agreement as needed.
