Accident on Main / Union

June 21, 2003   MVA at Main & Union

Two people were transported to Erie County Medical Center after daytime accident in heart of West Seneca. Shortly after 3pm today, Vigilant Firefighters were called to an accident with injuries at the intersection of Main Street and Union Road. Vigilant Fire Chief David Willman called for the need of extrication tools for one of the vehicles involved. Firefighters needed to use their Holmatro Extrication tools to remove a door from one of the vehicles.
A quick response from Vigilant equipment, in combination with well-organized scene management, brought about an efficient departure of both patients from the accident scene. Two Rural/Metro Ambulances were used for transportation to ECMC.
