April 10 – The Easter Bunny came to town to bring some joy and smile to Children in Vigilant’s Fire District.
December 19 – The Grinch and Whoville people were invited to participate in the Civic & Partiotic Commission 1st Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Celebration. Here are a few pictures from the family fun filled event.
December 4 – Santa around Town. Santa enjoyed his short time in our District. Unfortunately, we were unable to drive down every single road in the Districtc, but hope everyone got a chance to at least see Santa!
December 27th – Christmasville Parade. Vigilant participated in the 2021 Christmasville Parade. The committee worked for hours on the float. Unfortunately, we did not win any categories, but we all had a blast creating this “Grinch who stole Christmas” float!

September 29 – Law Enforcement Torch Run!
Members of the Vigilant Fire Department participated in the Torch Run for Special Olympics. One of our members actually ran in the event, 2 members road bikes and 2 members of our EMS Standby Crew followed behind with 7-2 to pick up anyone needing assistance! The balance of our members stood by at the finish line. It was great to have assistance by Seneca Hose and Union who also participated in this event!
AUGUST 3 – National Night Out!

July 8, 9, 10 & 11 – Queen of Heaven is celebrating 40 years!
Vigilant Fire Department was on location making sure that everyone has a safe and enjoyable time at the carnival. If an emergency occurred during the carnival, members were on hand during the entire time to take care of the needs of the members of the community!
Thank you to our neighboring Fire Distrticts, Reserve Hose and East Seneca for assisting us over the weekend!
