With February being Heart Health month, Vigilant conducts their annual CPR class during the month of February. The majority of our membership are CPR certified. All EMTs (Emergency Medical Technicians) must maintain their CPR status in order to maintain their EMT cards. Vigilant currently has 13 EMTs, 1 CFR (Certified First Responder) and 4 members currently taking an EMT Class.
January 2025 – Many drills in January and February are classroom sessions in order to get those out of the way so that when good weather comes around, we can drill outside.
January drills include OSHA class which includes – Sexual Harrassment, fire house safety, LockOut/TagOut, Right to know and more subjects. Vigilant also conducts part of their OSHA training into our drills throughout the year.
